Repertoire Workshops

Throughout the year there are various Ballet Weekend Repertoire Workshops available, which I run with Tierney Heap who is an incredible First Soloist of The Royal Ballet Company. During the sessions we teach an extensive ballet class, learn amazing repertoire from current ballets performed by The Royal Ballet Company and enjoy a nice long stretch session at the end of the day. These weekends are great fun and full of all things ballet!

Private Classes

Private Classes

I offer private coaching, pointe work classes and audition preparation classes if you have a specific goal in mind and would like a class to focus entirely on you, your needs and aspirations.

The pre-recorded ballet barre classes are a selection of Mixed Level classes with adaptations provided throughout the class for those with more or less experience. There are a couple of Basic Ballet Barre classes to join in with should you wish to slow things right down with a more simplified class to really improve your technique and an Express Ballet Barre if you are short on time! I have also recorded a number of tutorials, which break down specific exercises to practice separately after one of your classes. Finally there is a “Core de Ballet” abs routine to really fire up those ballet abs and back and a couple of stretch sequences to do should you wish to have more of an intense stretch session after your chosen ballet class.

Ballet Revival Beginners Course

My Ballet Revival Beginners Course is perfect for complete beginners who wish to try ballet for the first time and for those who wish to go right back to the basics of ballet and refresh their technique. I have carefully created a set of pre-recorded beginner ballet barre classes that you can follow along to at home to begin your Adult Ballet journey.

I believe that a good, solid foundation of technique is vital for all ballet dancers but especially for beginners as once this is formed the benefits of ballet will be seen for years to come. What to Wear

Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable and can easily move. Most of my regular dancers wear leggings and t-shirts. Ballet shoes are not required initially and socks or Pilates socks with grips on the bottom are fine. If you continue on a long-term basis, I recommend buying a pair of split sole canvas ballet shoes. Tutus and leg warmers are optional…!

My Story

My Story - Sarah Briscoe

I trained at the Royal Ballet School, gaining a Professional Dance Diploma in Classical Ballet. Whilst at the school I was chosen to perform with The Royal Ballet in “The Sleeping Beauty” at The Royal Opera House. Upon graduation I joined the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, performing as the lead ballet dancer. I then joined English National Ballet for two seasons of their ‘in-the-round’ productions of “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Romeo & Juliet”.

Drawing on my performing experience, I bring a passion and love of dance to the studio. I continue to expand on my teaching skills with regular workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance. I am a fully qualified Sleek Ballet Fitness Instructor, Progressive Ballet Technique Instructor and DDMIX Dance Fitness Instructor and hold qualifications in both Dance Fitness for Adults and Exercise to Music, awarded by EMD Academy, endorsed by The Register of Exercise Professionals and Sport England.
