Ballet – What’s the Pointe?
Ballet classes are a fantastic revival for the whole body. Ballet will help to improve your muscle tone, strength and overall flexibility. Ballet Revival classes are designed to teach you all aspects of ballet practice, including basic ballet exercises, technique and stretches in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
Sleek Technique is a fun, effective workout based on authentic ballet technique that will give you a lean, shapely dancer’s physique, which has been created by two ex-professional dancers. Victoria was a First Soloist of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Flik had a hugely successful career working in the West End, theatre and movies. Whilst Sleek is ballet-based, it requires no previous dance experience.
DDMIX is an exciting dance based fitness class created by ex-Ballerina and former “Strictly Come Dancing” judge, Dame Darcey Bussell and top choreographer and performer Nathan Clarke. The class includes all different dance eras and genres from Bollywood to Charleston and everything in between!
No need to have danced before, just the enthusiasm to do something new!

My Story

I trained at the Royal Ballet School, gaining a Professional Dance Diploma in Classical Ballet. Whilst at the school I was chosen to perform with The Royal Ballet in “The Sleeping Beauty” at The Royal Opera House. Upon graduation I joined the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, performing as the lead ballet dancer. I then joined English National Ballet for two seasons of their ‘in-the-round’ productions of “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Romeo & Juliet”.
Drawing on my performing experience, I bring a passion and love of dance to the studio. I continue to expand on my teaching skills with regular workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance. I am also a fully qualified Sleek Technique and DDMIX Dance Fitness Instructor and hold qualifications in both Dance Fitness for Adults and Exercise to Music, awarded by EMD Academy, endorsed by The Register of Exercise Professionals and Sport England.
