Weekend Workshops

Repertoire Workshops

Throughout the year there are various Ballet Weekend Repertoire Workshops available, which I run with Tierney Heap former First Soloist of The Royal Ballet Company. Tierney is a Guest Teacher at Ballet Revival and you can find out more about her illustrious career on my Teachers page! These Workshops are split into two different level groups an Improver group and Advanced group to ensure everyone has the best day and works to their own personal level. During these workshops we teach a full ballet class, learn amazing repertoire from current ballets performed by The Royal Ballet Company and enjoy a nice long stretch session at the end of the day. They provide everyone who attends the Workshop day an opportunity to see what life in a ballet company is really like and to experience first hand the complete joy of dancing in a real ballet!

These weekends are great fun and full of all things ballet!

My Story

My Story - Sarah Briscoe

I trained at the Royal Ballet School, gaining a Professional Dance Diploma in Classical Ballet. Whilst at the school I was chosen to perform with The Royal Ballet in “The Sleeping Beauty” at The Royal Opera House. Upon graduation I joined the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, performing as the lead ballet dancer. I then joined English National Ballet for two seasons of their ‘in-the-round’ productions of “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Romeo & Juliet”.

Drawing on my performing experience, I bring a passion and love of dance to the studio. I continue to expand on my teaching skills with regular workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance. I am a fully qualified Sleek Ballet Fitness Instructor, Progressive Ballet Technique Instructor and DDMIX Dance Fitness Instructor and hold qualifications in both Dance Fitness for Adults and Exercise to Music, awarded by EMD Academy, endorsed by The Register of Exercise Professionals and Sport England.
