These classes are for those who wish to refresh their technique and revive their love of ballet having taken classes as a child or adult. The classes focus on understanding the core principles of ballet, including basic ballet positions, terms and movements that will help you to improve your posture, co-ordination and strength.
These classes are for those who have some previous experience of ballet or who have progressed from my level one class and will have different levels of exercises and enchaînments to suit those with less or more experience. They are a great way to improve on ballet technique, core strength and muscle tone.
These classes are for those who have previous experience of ballet. They are more challenging and work at a faster pace and you will learn more advanced combinations of exercises, pirouettes, allegro and enchaînments. They are a great way to stimulate the mind and body and understand the physicality of ballet.
These classes are for everybody and no previous ballet experience is required. They are great all-round conditioning classes to improve core stability, posture, weight placement and alignment used in ballet in a floor-based class. Ballet Body Conditioning is a complete body workout!

I trained at the Royal Ballet School, gaining a Professional Dance Diploma in Classical Ballet. Whilst at the school I was chosen to perform with The Royal Ballet in “The Sleeping Beauty” at The Royal Opera House. Upon graduation I joined the UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of the Opera”, performing as the lead ballet dancer. I then joined English National Ballet for two seasons of their ‘in-the-round’ productions of “The Sleeping Beauty” and “Romeo & Juliet”.
Drawing on my performing experience, I bring a passion and love of dance to the studio. I continue to expand on my teaching skills with regular workshops at the Royal Academy of Dance. I am also a fully trained DDMIX Instructor and hold qualifications in both Dance Fitness for Adults and Exercise to Music, awarded by EMD Academy, endorsed by The Register of Exercise Professionals and Sport England.
Sarah is a beautiful dancer who inspires you with her love of dance. Her classes are fun and carefully planned to suit a wide range of experience and ability. Whether you are new to ballet or an old hand, you will enjoy yourself whilst being challenged to improve and develop your technique. There is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere of like-minded people. What better way to stay-fit and meet new friends?
Having decided, in my mid fifties, to go back to ballet classes after several decades away, I felt a bit nervous and wasn’t sure that I was up to it. Sarah, however, is a wonderfully welcoming and enthusiastic teacher and has always made me feel completely comfortable even in classes where some members are infinitely more competent than I!
Sarah’s passion and boundless energy are contagious! I always look forward to her classes. They are a sparkling mix of ballet technique practice, stamina building jumps and elegant routines in a beautiful studio. After just one hour of ballet with Sarah I feel de-stressed, invigorated and uplifted. The best way to stay happy and fit!
